Customers Experience

My name is Stacie Roy and I visited "Any Lab" with my grandson "Tyson".

Unfortunately I had to doubt the paternity of my grandson due to the mother's infidelity early on in the relationship with my son-coming to the lab was a very hard decision for me but a necessary one.

Mr. Hopman explained the easy procedure for both Tyson and myself and within a week we had the results we had hoped for. I would recommend this lab to friend's and family.

Legal Paternity

Legal Paternity Test

This test gives you an accurate determination (with 99% or more certainty) of who the child’s biological father is. The difference between a Basic DNA Paternity test and a Legal DNA paternity test is that the Legal DNA Paternity test is admissible in a court of law.

If you need your test results for Child Support, Social Security Benifits, Placing name on birth certificate or Removing name from a birth certificate or other legal purposes, get the

Legal DNA Paternity Test

How does it work?

  • A DNA sample is collected with 2 special swabs that are rubbed around the inside of both cheeks (from the child and the alleged father). This is a painless and fast procedure. A sample from the mother is NOT required, but can be useful.
  • For legal DNA test we use the Chain of Custody documentation process to ensure that the results will stand up in court.

What is a Chain of Custody?

The Chain of Custody process makes sure that your results will be acceptable in court of law when paternity has to be proven.

In order to establish a chain of custody the following process will be followed.

  • Samples are collected by an neutral third party, such as a clinic or laboratory. • The individuals tested are positively identified (i.e. They present a government-issued ID, and they are photographed and fingerprinted for records.)
  • The samples are carefully tracked and matched to the person tested throughout the entire DNA testing process.

The Chain of Custody process requires samples to be taken by a neutral third party. The medical assistants who collect your sample are specially trained for this type of testing.

Remember to bring the following when you come to our facility for a Legal DNA Test.

  • A government-issued identification for the adults
  • A form of identification for minors, such as a birth certificate or social security card

Our DNA test providers are accredited by leading institutions. Call us if you want to see a certificate.
